Revealing Inner Creativity

How do you stay ahead of the curve? How do you guarantee you are providing your customers with the next big thing? How do you present your offer in a way that is still intriguing to distracted customers?

The answer is creativity.

One way to get the attention of customers overwhelmed by choices is to step outside the predictable. Surprise is interesting. A new way of looking at something catches attention.

For many, creativity does not come easily. However, there are a few easy ways to boost your creativity throughout the day:

1. Change locations. Oftentimes, a new location will inspire a new way of thinking. Take a break and go outside for lunch instead of eating at your desk. You might see something that sparks an idea.

2. Change your routine. Instead of following the same pattern each day, make slight adjustments that will force you to pay attention to your new surroundings and may expose you to something inspiring.

3. Don’t say “no.” For the time being, allow yourself to say “yes” to every thought without considering the reasons it won’t work. It can be those impractical ideas that lead to the next really great one.

4. Step out of your box. Meet a new person every day. Try a new food. Memorize facts, even if you cannot use them directly in your work. This will change the ways your brain thinks and will open new pathways for your thoughts.

What strategies do you use to spark creativity? Let me know in the comments!

I have never understood the saying “to think outside the box”. Why would anybody sit inside of a box and think outside of it? Rather, just get out of the box. – Lawrence Anthony

That is the meaning of creativity, and these steps will help with that.

Thanks, great strategies, now I’ll become even more creative.

I believe my creativity Is due to my habit of constantly clarifying my chief aim. For instance, at the beginning I was aiming to reaching E3 and making $20k+ /mo , and that’s great. Now I have clarified that my chief aim and what inspires me more is to help create 100+ thousandaires in my network which also lead to The same e3 . The difference now since I’ve came to this realization is that I’m coming up with ways not to get 2000 trios but in ways to help people become thousandaires, helping people dream.

    Lets make it so.

I agree that most often its about changing something from our ordinary routine however, sometimes it’s about remembering a time when your creativity lead you to something great. Often we do something that works and is productive and, in our quest to keep moving forward, we amble on to the next thing and the next thing and soon that creative thing that worked is in the rear view mirror. Forgotten. Tossed aside. So sometimes when I am looking for some creative spark, I focus on what worked before that maybe I walked away from too soon. We cant live in the past but we should be unwilling to ignore the successes that maybe duplicatable either.
