Over the last 15 years, social media strategies utilized by companies have been evolving from having a presence to engaging communities to what is now being called “Social Commerce.” Social Commerce is considered the future direction of the “social” piece of marketing strategies and the opportunity to enable a direct exchange of goods and services between people. This will include enabling communities to purchase or access product detail through social media platforms and from other members of the community.

Both companies and consumers are set to benefit from this new wave of social engagement. Now, companies will have more data to determine the ROI of social campaigns and they will be better able to target and enable effective product discovery to the most relevant consumers. The consumer will benefit from accessibility, easier connection to highly relevant products and the ability to have a direct economic exchange from each other. And let’s not forget the mutual benefit of sharing great new finds with friends over social networks!

With a foundation built strongly on the idea that consumers trust peer recommendations far more than they trust advertising messaging, Solavei continues to benefit members in a way that can truly make an impact on each of their individual lives. In less than three months, I’m proud to announce membership levels reaching 90,000 and members receiving more than $2 million total commissions since our launch on September 21st this year.

The power behind Solavei is the members. They use social media to share their stories of success and to grow their community by sharing the benefits of our mobile service with their friends through social connections. This Social Commerce platform has a greater reach and impact than any advertising. No medium of advertising could be as effective as the drive, motivation and desire to share of our member community.

One of the greatest rewards I get almost daily are the emails, Facebook messages and texts from our members who let me know how Solavei is benefiting them financially and in many other ways far greater than money. From being able to spend more time with kids, to purchasing groceries, to being able to afford private school and so many more. I am excited to see the continuation of these positive benefits for our members and our community as a whole. Fulfilling the vision to positively impact millions of people’s lives gets closer everyday.
